My name is Xiaoyu Han, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Marketing at the Schulich School of Business. With extensive international experience in market research, social media management, and digital marketing strategies, I have had the opportunity to work with companies across various countries and regions. This experience has equipped me with a solid practical foundation and a broad understanding of diverse marketing fields.

I graduated from Queen’s University in Canada in 2019 with a major in Sociology. During my studies, I explored data analysis, consumer culture, and social behavior, developing a strong interest in consumer trends. This academic background has provided me with a robust theoretical foundation, particularly sharpening my ability to analyze consumer behavior and generate valuable market insights.

My career began at Infinity Fitness, where I served as a Marketing Coordinator. In this role, I implemented innovative, community-based operational models and integrated both online and offline marketing activities, which significantly increased the company’s membership recharge rates and sales. I also led social media promotion campaigns, utilizing platforms like WeChat and Instagram to effectively attract target customers, enhance brand awareness, and drive customer engagement.

I then joined Anhui New Media Group as a Social Media Manager, leading a team to develop and execute successful social media strategies for multiple brands. I leveraged data-driven insights to optimize multimedia content, which boosted both brand awareness and sales performance. This experience deepened my understanding of how to enhance user engagement through data-driven strategy development and diverse content, fostering stronger relationships between brands and consumers.

During my graduate studies, I also worked as a Marketing Strategist at GOAT Vintage, focusing on expanding the brand’s online presence in the North American market. Through the use of search engine optimization (SEO), Google Ads, and social media engagement, I helped the brand gain a competitive edge in the sustainable fashion industry. By collaborating with eco-friendly influencers and conducting market research on the target audience, I developed targeted advertising strategies that significantly increased the brand’s online traffic and conversion rates.

Throughout my career, I have maintained a goal-oriented mindset and a passion for self-improvement.
